Public bug reported: Ubuntu 17.10 caribou: 0.4.21-2
File /usr/share/caribou/layouts/tablet/us.xml is using QUERTZ layout, while should be QUERTY like other us.xml files under layouts tree. This causes the wrong layout to show up by setting tablet as keyboard type: gsettings set org.gnome.shell.keyboard keyboard-type tablet As a workaround, just modify us.xml file to swap 'z'/'Z' and and 'y'/'Y' keys respectively. ** Affects: caribou (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to caribou in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1732845 Title: Tablet layout uses qwertz in us.xml To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/caribou/+bug/1732845/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
