Yes and no :) I believe the "z" prefix means that interface is still unstable and subject to change. So you might actually be better off staying with wl_shell which is "stable" and won't change. The fix for this bug will be in Ubuntu 18.04 soon hopefully, and I think it may probably land in 17.10
