I cannot repeat information as have the laptop. the new laptop has loads of
problems with Hardy.

same happens with me
I used synaptic manager and later it hanged and then I logged off
It still was hanging and later some how logged off
I have a very litle knowledge of UBuntu Linux
I thought Linux never hanged so I switched to it from windows and windows is
too easy
and not secure too
