Yes. I'm not sure how I ended up with a higher version than what was in
the repos, but everything is OK now.

So here's the problem: I have gnome-cards-data 1:2.20.1 installed, and
gnome-games depends on 2.20.0.1. Here is the aptitude output for it:
$ sudo aptitude install gnome-games
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Reading extended state
I can definitely see the package in the repository, maybe your mirror
has troubles syncing?, could you please check from the main repository.

by the way, I'm assuming you are using Gutsy or Hardy
