Ken, feel free to let me know if you need any help with this issue. (I
can help with testing etc.) It would be great if this issue could be
fixed before Ubuntu 20.04 is released.

Possible solution could be adding a "" tag
(https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-
software/-/blob/master/data/appdata/org.gnome.Software.appdata.xml.in#L1491)
to AppData, if Snap supports it, or adding some gnome-software quirk
that marks the snap-store Snap as system application.
