Public bug reported: gnome-shell/focal,now 3.36.1-4ubuntu1 amd64 13" laptop running at 1366 x 768 (16:9) If fixing the location is an issue, might I suggest re-styling the name of the application instead of adding the dot? I do understand that you are trying to have consistency with the dash/dock indicator, but it doesn't really "read" that way in this view anyway. Bolding the text of a running app would actually be easier on your end and do the job better. ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "Visual showing the issue" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1872684/+attachment/5353807/+files/Screenshot%20from%202020-04-14%2006-09-30.png ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 1872275 Orange indicator dot is rendered over text in thr app grid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1872684 Title: Orange Dot (running application) wrong location To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1872684/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
