I do not use compiz, desktop effects and I don;t have a 3d accelerator. I think it is the gnome desktop. The window closes also if I use Alt+F9. Changing the appearance theme does not make a difference. Rebooting also does not make a difference. ** Also affects: gnome-desktop (Ubuntu)

Closing was no problem, but minimizing was and I was trying the panel as well as ALT+F9 to see if there was a difference. BUT the solution is simple: I needed to add Windows List to the Panel. I guess it was removed after the most recent upgrade. I know I didn't remove it because as long as I
