Public bug reported: in the packaged desktop file:
----- [Desktop Entry] Name=Files ----- which means Nautilus will show up as "Files" in preferred applications setup and menus. That very same Name is used by nemo aswell (filed as #1938620 ). Instead that Name should be Nautilus (in all languages), just like other File Manager apps have their own actual names :) Description: Ubuntu 21.04 Release: 21.04 nautilus: Installed: 1:3.38.2-1ubuntu2 Candidate: 1:3.38.2-1ubuntu2 Version table: *** 1:3.38.2-1ubuntu2 500 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hirsute-updates/main amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1:3.38.2-1ubuntu1 500 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hirsute/main amd64 Packages is it possible to make this change here or should I go upstream? ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: desktop-file -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1938621 Title: nautilus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1938621/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
