Thanks for the report Alexandre , It has been a long time without any
comment or a duplicate in this bug report and It is possible that the
bug has been fixed. May you please try to reproduce it with the latest
Stable Release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal and add the respective
comments to the report

As we can see this is not a gtksourceview2 issue, it is a
gtksourceview1.0 issue, and it's almost not used(I figured out that
scribes uses gtksourceview1 by looking at source code), neither I use
scribes anymore, when I get some time I will bot from a memory stick
install the scribes and test it.
could you try if that's still an issue in intrepid?

Yes, the same error occurs with Hardy, and the same workarround solves
the problem.
