Hmm, some interesting updates here. Firstly, here's the output from
totem when run with "G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all":

It works fine on an amd64 desktop, some questions
1. Do you download and try to play locally or do you provide the https
URL to totem?
2. do you get more output if you do
$ G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all totem
3. could you try to
$ G_DEBUG=fatal_warnings totem
and if it's crashing, report the bug or pro
