Thanks for following up. This bug report is being closed due to your
last comment regarding this being fixed with latest Ubuntu.
For future reference you can manage the status of your own bugs by
clicking on the current status in the yellow line and then choosing a
new status in the revealed drop
Using the lastest Ubuntu release 10.4 I don't have any problem with this.
Please close the bug reporet and mark as done.

Same here Set the fonts to smaller size but some headers in web
pages are not affected!!! My desktop appreance is using fony size 9

I agree:
Icon sizes are fixed.
Font sizes are still wierd - some much too large some too small.
I can't see any pattern... (perhaps because I switch resolution between
1920*1200 and 1024*768 whenever I dock and undock).

Icon sizes seem work for me in current hardy.
Font size is still wrong with some content (like launchpad), where e.g.
the bug title and comments are huge, but my name and the "actions"
column on the left is displayed fine. If I do ^- to zoom out, there is
still disproportion ("actions" almost unre

same here ... upgrade from gutsy to hardy ... 2 screens 1900x1200 and
1600x1000
starting firefox3 leads to icons twice as big as normal ... and also the
content on the websites are 2-3 times to big

I confirm this with firefox and epiphany as well as of today. Total
display (dualhead) width is 2464x900 and I attach some screenshots.
Firefox has icons in menus scaled wrongly as well, whereas epiphany does
fine hear. Page rendering is wrong in both cases, including pixmaps.
