Thanks. GsettingsChanges.txt seems to show a number of unsupported
extensions enabled, and extensions tend to be the main cause of gnome-
shell bugs.
Firstly, please disable the second dock extension:
dash-to-d...@micxgx.gmail.com
and log in again.
If the problem is still happening then
apport information

Since upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04, I have noticed that the dock (which I
have at the bottom) will randomly die. When this happens:
* The dock is reduced to just the "Show Applications" icon
* One or more open
This is probably caused by other factors in the gnome-shell process so I
will briefly assign it there and ask you to run:
apport-collect 1988333
to provide more system info.
