Title:
two desktop icons are shown for snap apps after upgrading from 22.04.4
to 24.04.1
SNAP is a general purpose gene finding program so not the culprit.
Moving to gnome-shell which will at least bring this report to
the attention of Ubuntu's Desktop team.
