Unable to submit crash report there isn't one. Reinstalled GDM which fixed problem here until reboot when it returns,still get 'CRITICAL: Error...' if sudo gdmsetup run from terminal. Any amend to gdm from gdmsetup also produces a slow shutdown and 'LIBHAL shutdown failed' error message.This corrects itself after reboot and i get a normal shutdown.
