closing the bug since there is no recent duplicate and it works
correctly for users who commented on the bug, you can reopen the bug or
send a new one if you still get the issue though

not me, i forgot it... maybe once the conflict was between "automatic login"
and "login after a time", when both were selected ... this is what i can
remember of this bug.
the solution was reinstall gdm...

Hi, the only thing I've been able find is once you modify the gdm config
which creates the file /etc/gdm/gdm.conf-custom you end up with gdm
crashing every time you try to login. This seems to have been corrected
in a recent upgrade though as I am now able to modify the gdm config
without any crash
I have 2 laptops running Hardy. One is a fresh Hardy install (done today
and fully updated) the other is a upgrade from Feisty.
gdmsetup appears for about 1 second then crashes (No error message) If I
runt from the terminal I get Segmentation Fault.
