I can confirm this bug. I just ran into this today. In my case, I had recently installed the Ubuntu-Studio packages (and Theme). After doing an update today 4/3/2008, I get this GDM Greeter crashing issue. -- gdmgreeter crashed with SIGSEGV in g_build_filename()
