It appears to be limited to my profile, since a guest user on my
machine opens these files successfully. I checked my ~/.local/, where it
looked like custom file associations are, and saw nothing calling out
GPG there. In the Open With in the properties window, there are no
options, save for the

That's interesting. On my machine, Nautilus lists the MIMEtype as
application/pgp-encrypted. I'll see what happens if I reinstall
Seahorse...
...still not associated properly. Later today, I'll check and see if it
might not just be a problem with my user profile.
