Public bug reported: Binary package hint: metacity
* latest hardy beta * System -> Preferences -> Appearance -> Visual Effects -> None * System -> Preferences -> Sessions -> Session Options -> Automatically remember running applications when logging out Create a bunch of plain old xterms (not gnome-terminal or whatever), resize them to various sizes (I like 80x50), and reposition around on screen. Exit session, log back in. Get the same number of xterms that were previously open, but they all start at 80x24 and all are in the upper left corner of the screen. I would have expected various window sizes and positions to be saved across the session as well. ** Affects: metacity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [hardy] window sizes not saved across sessions https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/218296 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to metacity in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
