Unfortunately the problem isn't solved. The first pages are pretty fast,
but after a certain amount of pages (I think the problem lies in the
printer buffer) the printing action slows down, so I have to wait about
30 seconds per site. Additionally a new problem occurs now: the borders
of the page a

I have the same problem with an HP LaserJet 8150. On-screen rendering
under evince seems a little slower too. Reverting to
libpoppler2_0.6-0ubuntu2.1 and poppler-utils_0.6-0ubuntu2.1 corrected
the problem.
This is a serious bug! For all practical purposes my up-to-date Gutsy
system can't print PD
rather a poppler issue then since kpdf is not using the evince code and
has the issue
