Hello,
I have seen this bug in all versions I used. Im using now 8.04 but was the
same with 7.10 and 6.06
To trigger it do
Press in desktop with right click
select 'Create Launcher'
as Launcher type select 'Place'
type any name
as Place press 'Browse' button
try to select any directory
it will
gnome-desktop-item-edit isn't catching directories in the case of
Link, like it should be (or barring that, having something like
Directory instead of Link). Moving the bug to gnome-panel (don't ask
me why this util is there! completely unintuitive...)
