Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Evolution (2.22.1 of Ubuntu 8.04rc) doesn't remove messages stored on a MS Exchange (2003) server. Even after messages are deleted and the trash is expunged the messages are still on the Exchange server (and accessible via MS Outlook) although Evolution doesn't list them anymore. Evolution and Outlook then (consequently) disagree about the number of messages in a folder. This is particularly a problem, if there is a quota on the allowed storage space on the Exchange server (and due to some mailbox recovery problem, MS Exchange administrators are encouraged to set a quota not greater than 2GiB). ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- evolution doesn't remove messages on Exchange server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/225868 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
