could also be bug #216104 which is a connect to server dialog bug, there
reason it was not marked duplicate is that the bug triagers have too
much to do to search the exact numbers for all the duplicates opene

Alright, it's the "smb password cannot be accessed" bug that's bug
206439, marking this as dup of it, thanks all and sorry for the
confusion.

Importance: Undecided => Low
This is not the same bug as 209520, which it was marked as a duplicate
of. That bug only applies to servers with very old password security,
and you would also get an error when connecting with smbclient.
