Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
I couldn't find any reports, so here it goes... When I tried to listen music files (mp3 format) named in CJK characters; CJK characters were shown correctly by Nautilus, but when I double clicked, totem was trying to play them, but the whole system crashed (mouse cursor was moving, but nothing responded...not even ctrl+alt+Function key nor power button) one thing i noticed was that the totem didn't show the correct characters in the title bar when it crashed unlike nautilus. thanks for great software! shimman ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Jul 6 15:22:50 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/totem-gstreamer Package: totem-gstreamer 2.22.1-0ubuntu2 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: totem Uname: Linux 2.6.24-19-generic i686 ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- System crash with audio files named in CJK (Chinese Japanese Korean) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/246139 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
