I have the same problem. After installing 'evolution-plugins-experimental', ensuring 'tnef- attachment' is enabled, and restarting machine, winmail.dat attachments are not recognised. I have updated all packages via 'apt-get upgrade'. dpkg -l evolution\* yields:

You *did* enable the tnef-attachment extension, right? Another thing might be going on: check if you have libytnef0 installed. For example, on a terminal, type 'dpkg -l libytnef\*'. You should see something like: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/.evolution $ dpkg -l libytnef\*
