Binary package hint: totem

When I try to play internet video clips a message pops up saying: An
error occurred. The playback of this movie requires a MPEG-1 system
stream demuxer  plugin which is not installed.

But I cant get my computer to download it. I just want to watch move
clips. how do I download this?
