that's because the svg is a text format and since it's set as something
which can be run nautilus can't determine for sure if that's a command
or some text and that's why it's asking, that's not a nautilus bug

You got that!
I've just realized that a *.svg file in my ubuntu desktop and it opens directly
However I need to have dual boot (for now), so data partition has to be ntfs
(or fat 32...)
Other programs *.doc, *.pdf... don't have this problem
I use Inkscape a lot, and like it much, but I see it has
the files stored on microsoft filesystems are marked as "can be run"
which trigger a similar dialog, that's a filesystem limitation, do you
get the bug when storing the file on an ext3 directory?

I listed the partitions badly, here it goes:
IDE DISK 1
/sda1 (ntfs)/windows SP2 and programs
/sda2 (ntfs)/all data I work with
IDE DISK 2
/sdb1 (ext3/ubuntu 8.04 spanish
No raid is made
So the *.svg files are stored in several different folders but always in second
partition
example: /sda2/film
on which one are the svg stored exactly and what permissions do they
have there?

boot (but all *.svg files I generate come from Inkscape sdb1):
/sda1(ntfs)/windows
/sda2(ntfs)/data
/sdb1(ext3)/ubuntu
