Public bug reported: gnome-terminal menu bar gets strange transparency by compiz With compiz off, the menu bar look as expected. I have gnome-terminal transparent background enabled. Since compiz adds some extra transparency to it (so you can see the icons) it also affects the menu bar, and makes it look really bad.
