Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
I just upgraded from Hardy to Intrepid Beta, and noticed that the settings for some system sounds aren't honored. In particular, I have the login / logoff sounds set to "Disabled", with the others set to "Default". However, when I log in, I still hear the default login sound (which, I might add, isn't the typical login sound I remember from Hardy, although this may be intentional). If I uncheck the box for "Play Alerts and Sound Effects", the sound is correctly disabled. However, I only wish to disable the login/logout sounds.
