could you open the bug on bugzilla.gnome.org where people who know the
code will read it? that's not a trivial issue and it would be better if
people knowing the code would read it and comment rather than
distribution bug triager

Totally forgot about this bug. Excuse me.
I tried to trigger this bug again so I could trace the crash, but now
Rhythmbox doesn't crash anymore. The problem is still there though, as
when rhythmbox would crash one month ago, it now just keeps on playing,
uncontrollable.
Example:
- Open big MP3 1
We are closing this bug report as it lacks the information, described in
the previous comments, we need to investigate the problem further.
However, please reopen it if you can give us the missing information and
don't hesitate to submit bug reports in the future.
