I can confirm this on Karmic (which, to me, means that even in Jaunty
this may give problems)

I just upgraded from Ubuntu LTS 8.04 to Ubuntu Ibex 8.10 four days ago.
Brasero worked perfectly under Hardy Heron bu t not under Intrepid Ibex.
