Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10
nautilus:
  Installed: 1:2.24.1-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1:2.24.1-0ubuntu1
  Version table:

Network Environment is wireless LAN / DHCP for all clients / 2 Windows XP SP3
systems / 2 Ubuntu 8.10 systems.
Smbfs installed on both LInux systems.
Windows XP systems have sharing enabled. (NOT simple file sharing.) Same share
permissions on both.
Attempting to transfer files from an Ubuntu system to SMB shares on Windows.
Select local file to be copied under Ubuntu via right-click context menu.
Type SMB share location into nautilus address field.
Right-click on target folder under the share. Paste into Folder is available
sometimes, and sometimes it isn't. When it isn't I can use drag-and-drop to
deliver the file to the target folder -- so it's not a target permissions issue.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Tags: folder paste samba
