With the latest evolution packages in Intrepid (2.24.2-0ubuntu1) this
issue is resolved for me. Since nobody else has indicated having the
same issue, I'm closing this.

thank you for your bug report, could you open the bug on
bugzilla.gnome.org too where the people writting the software will read
it and comment? the ubuntu team has no evolution hacker and you can
reply to their comments since you get the bug
