Yesterday, I've upgraded to 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.2 from intrepid-
update.
Since then, Rhythmbox and pulseaudio are using together approximately
15% of the CPU. (+/- 10% for RB and 5% for pulseaudio). I
