I forgot to respond to your request for the PDF. This issue is
independent of what PDF file I open, I've reproduced it with three
different ones. However, I tried 0.pdf from Bug 158065, comment 1, and I
was able to record a backtrace. I tried to also generate a core file in
gdb at the same time as

There are no evince related crash files there. Before filing the bug, I
also tried to reproduce the problem with gdb, and it is only
reproducible for me when running evince directly. I think that a source
file, line number, condition, and valid instructions for reproduction
are sufficient informati
