Public bug reported: Binary package hint: deskbar-applet
The GNOME deskbar-applet's calculator tool always expects a dot (".") as decimal seperator, but in many countries a comma (",") is used instead (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decimal_separator ). The system's settings for decimal seperators are stored in the locales category "LC_NUMERIC"; deskbar-applet should adopt that attribute. Ubuntu Version: 8.10 ("Intrepid Ibex") deskbar-applet version: 2.24.1 ** Affects: deskbar-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- deskbar-applet doesn't respect LC_NUMERIC settings https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/316123 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to deskbar-applet in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
