Yesterday I uploaded a new nautilus which now shows a progress dialog
while data is flushed to a to-be-removed device. It doesn't look very
beautiful yet and will get cleaned up a bit, but it should generally
work.

Alright; mounting the drives async is perfectly fine to me; everyone
likes performance :)
However, how about getting that gumount.c dialog a part of Nautilus? If
unmounting a heavily used volume is going to take 30+

Are there any plans for a fix? The remount r/o, then unmount idea sounds
like it works; definitely this one should be fixed before Dapper, IMO.
