Yea, I have the same issues. An example file is:
gst-typefind-0.10 01.\ Get\ Your\ Snack\ On.mpc

In Rhythmbox I have the exact same behavior as you all. In Totem, they actually
play, but almost every time it tries to switch to the next song it st
