Actually, I was able to dock it. Docking the laptop doesn't cause the problem if it boots up undocked. If I boot up docked, pulseaudio stutters and my typing lags. I grepped /var/log/messages and I didn't see anything about IRQ failures (I thought maybe IRQ conflict)? -- Rhythmbox stutters with

Ok, I have more information. I don't think it's a problem specifically in the audio system, but I don't know where to recategorize it. Something is hijacking the system. I've noticed that when pulseaudio/rhythmbox stutters, my typing also lags for a split second. I think it's reasonable to conclud
