Binary package hint: evolution
I cannot receive or send e-mails using Evolution 2.22.3.1. When I hit the
Send/Receive button, I get the following error:
"Error while performing operation. MAIL FROM command failed: Must issue a
STARTTLS command first"
The send meter shows a full bar and the status shows "Complete," but
nothing is sent.
I am trying to receive from "POP3.live.com" and trying to send to
"SMTP.live.com" In the
Evolution Account Editor there is no Server Type "POP3," only "POP."
I am running the Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release: 8.04 OS on a Dell Mini 9
notebook PC.
I have no trouble sending and receiving mail for this account or any
other account in Outlet Express on my desktop PC running Windows XP.
