Public bug reported: Applications -> Accessories -> Passwords and Encryption Keys -'xprop | grep WM_CLASS' reports as Seahorse System -> Preferences -> Encryption and Keyrings -'xprop | grep WM_CLASS' reports as Seahorse-preferences
These two provide some confusion. It is not clear to the average user why they are in different places or what their different functionality is. The Gnome experience would be simplified if they were somehow merged together potentially in System -> Preferences. There is discussion related to this at Gnome Bug #558245 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=558245 and Ubuntu bug #289516 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/seahorse/+bug/289516 ** Affects: seahorse (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- merge 'Passwords and Encryption Keys" with "Encryption and Keyrings" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/341201 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to seahorse in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
