Arrr! I just realized that the frozen program is the mixer_applet2, not
gnome-volume-manager. =x

My apologies, this bug will probably need to be moved: it still happens,
but now I realize that its only freezing the first mixer applet, and not

If you add a second Volume applet to your panel, and then remove it, it
freezes the panel.
