I have no idea either but it was removed not so long ago in the svn
anyway... It might be a good idea to remove it from the 0.10 in dapper
if there won't be any 0.11 soon enough to be included in dapper.

Yep, we removed it in SVN because it's not very useful, easy to use
accidentally and still available with /clear.
x-g 0.11 will not be included in Dapper but maybe it's a good idea to
backport this change to the 0.10.

I can reproduce this too, however I'm using a custom profile inherited
from xchat2. I'll try with a fresh profile.

Selecting Edit Clear does not clear the channel buffer (equivalent to
pressing CTRL+L), nor does it clear the
