Ubuntu 8.10 Interpid Kernel 2.6.27-11-generic GNOME 2.24.1 Processor : AMD Sempron 32bit ( in case if someone wants to know ) I haven't installed any seperate gnome packages or any other applications which can crash it ( gedit or GConf ) ! Fresh installation ( completed like 30 minutes ago )
