Same for me, the pop-up only at right top. Modification on 'Pop-up
notifications' program are without effect.
Config :
- Jaunty x86 upgraded from Intrepid
- I don't use Compiz

I have the same problem. Since I upgraded to Ubuntu Jaunty, the
notifications are appearing on the top-right corner of my screen.
