Brightness notification does not show correct brightness level
Running rmmod dell-laptop and then modprobe -i dell-laptop fixed it.
The module was shown as running in lsmod before this, so I still don't
know exactly what was wrong. Either way, its fixed now.

I recently installed a custom kernel, and on that custom kernel, the
brightness level showed up correctly. I had been trying build a kernel
that took advantage of kernel mode setting for my Intel i915 card. I
also compiled some other options into the kernel, and I think one of
them might have
Dmitriy, I'm not sure if this is the same bug. My brightness goes down,
but the meter level is not the same as my hardware level. The meter
should be going down by about 15% each time I lower the brightness
level, but it goes down much less than that (and decreases by a smaller
amount each time
