I had two tabs open in firefox: http://slashdot.org/ and
http://blog.oup.com/2009/03/science-fiction/

With each tab active, the corresponding window titles were "News for
nerds, stuff that matters (16) - Mozilla Firefox" and "Nine Words You
Might Think Came from Science but Which Are Really from Science
Fiction

..."

With the second tab active, gnome-panel crashes, is relaunched, crashes
again, and so on.  Switching back to the first tab stops it, switching
back to the second starts it again.
