I had a look on that while updating to 0.3.2 and talked to upstream the python build is cleaner with the CVS version now, doesn't require those package hacks to build it. Since no application really uses it at the moment it'll be packaged with 0.4.0 after dapper ** Changed in: libgpod (Ubuntu)
