Yes, I just rechecked. I have the latest package version installed (still 2.26.0-0ubuntu3). If it matters, this is a system upgraded from intrepid, not a new install. BTW, why was the package changed from gnome-media to gnome-control-center? the relevant binary is /usr/bin/gnome-volume-control,
