you should open the bug on bugzilla.gnome.org where the people writting
the code will read it rather than distribution bug triagers

Apparently, it's related to the theme engine I was using.
The "separator" (don't know if I can call it that, now) is not visible
when using Taqua, New Wave, Murrina, Mist, Loma, Inverted, Human,
Glossy, Dust, DarkRoom, or Clearlooks, nor their derivatives. It's
visible in most all of the others.
Well, it doesn't necessarily have to. I just thought it seemed odd that
there was a separator there when there's nothing to separate, so I
thought it was a bug (i.e.: something was missing, or it shouldn't be
there). Of course, it didn't cross my mind that it might have supposed
to not be there unt
thank you for your bug report, not sure that's a bug though, why would
it need to display an activity indicator when there is no activity going
on?
