your right. that acroread didn't open is a another issue. file a bug for that ?
"As possible actions as for a local file" I meant that the same menu is show:
e.g. on a local file right click on a pdf gives a menu: first entry * open
with "Adobe Reader", second entry * open with ->: gives a

The screenshot doesn't match your description. You mentionned that it "does not
show the list of possible actions as for a local file" ... what action are on
expecting on your screenshot? Is the issue that acroread doesn't open the
selected pdf? where is the action that should be listed?

with possible actions I meant it does not lists alternative programs of this
mine type.

Thanks for your bug. What file do you try to open? It lists the actions
possible, which are not the same as for the local system since all the apps
don't use gnome-vfs for opening
